Spivey Construction Company is a family-owned business built on ambition, integrity, and the unwavering determination of its founder, Willis I. Spivey. During the turbulent recession of the 1970s, a young Willis stepped out of an unemployment line, walked into the bank across the street, and secured a loan with little more than his name and a dream. He used the money to build a spec house that quickly sold and then immediately bought the land next door to build another. From these humble beginnings, the Spivey name flourished and grew into the trusted industry leader it is today. Fifty years and five recessions later, Willis is still building—driven by that same passion for detail and dedication to making his clients’ dreams come true.
